About Us

The mission of the Serein School of Ballet, established in 2001, has been the offering of classical and comprehensive Ballet training. The School offers a curriculum of all levels of Classical Ballet of the Royal Academy of Dance, London. All the teaching staffs are qualified teachers registered with the Royal Academy of Dance. Every year, students in the School achieve excellent results in the examinations of the Royal Academy of Dance.

 

Aiming to fully develop the potential of students interested in dancing, enhance their artistic cultivation and devote the greatest attention to every student, the School offers lessons in the mode of small-class teaching (8 to 10 students). Due to our convenient location, most of our students come from Maryknoll Convent School, St. Catherine's International Kindergarten, York International Kindergarten, Kingston International School and Australian International School.

In addition, students are provided with ample opportunities to widen their perspectives. From time to time, the School participates in TV appearances and stage performances. Through these activities, students obtain invaluable stage experiences and strengthen their self-confidence, and parents and friends can recognize their efforts and progress.

 

In recent years, students from our school have also participated in different local and international ballet competitions, such as the Hong Kong Ballet Stars Award, Hong Kong Challenge Cup Dance Competition, The Kangaroo Cup Dance Competition and the Asian Grand Prix. It is our belief that students learn from observing as well as dancing with outstanding dancers from all over the world.
