This course will use the C.S.T.D. (The Jason Winters Contemporary Technique) as the blueprint for teaching. It is suitable tor those with more experience in the field of dance. For this program, students will increase their overall capabilities of dance through their participation. 

 

Researches have also found out that dancers perform better if they have a foundation in contemporary dance and ballet as both of them share similarities. It is getting more popular to include a contemporary dance piece in international ballet competitions in recent years. Learning contemporary in conjunction with ballet will help students to improve their flexibility, dance qualities, and musicality. 

 

Our students have previously entered the C.S.T.D. Contemporary Dance examinations and all of them have achieved honors or above. Similar to the C.S.T.D. ballet program, students who have previously entered the examinations are allowed to join the Kangaroo Cup Dance Competition each year.
